About Cavo Blu

Our story started in 1982 on the secluded, golden sands of Konnos Bay. Sheltered by steep, pine-tree-covered hills and kissed by the beautiful, crystalline blue waters of the Mediterranean, Konnos Bay is arguably the most idyllic location on the island—and a proud EU Blue Flag beach.

It was here that Mike, the visionary founder of our business, set up a small shack with just a few pedal-boats and a single speed boat. But Mike was not just a businessman; he was an athlete and a pioneer. As a Pancyprian champion in both water skiing competitions and jet bike racing, he possessed an intimate understanding of the water. In 1988, Mike became the official water-ski representative of Cyprus abroad. He was a trailblazer—one of the first Cypriots to master barefoot skiing and an incredibly talented trick-skier. His passion for aquatic sports laid the groundwork for everything we do today.

From those humble beginnings at a small beach shack, Mike’s Watersports steadily grew. Driven by the principles of impeccable quality, absolute safety, and genuine Cypriot hospitality, the business expanded to offer numerous activities and modern equipment.

Cavo Blu was born out of a desire to elevate this experience to the highest level of luxury. We recognized a need for bespoke, high-end maritime experiences in Ayia Napa and Protaras. By combining the rich Cavo Blu yacht charter heritage with an investment in top-tier vessels like our Galeon 375 GTO and Sea Ray Sundancer 320, we created a service where luxury meets local expertise.

We take immense pride in operating a fully solar-powered workstation, a testament to our commitment to eco-friendly, sustainable tourism. We believe that preserving the breathtaking environment of Cape Greco and the surrounding coastlines is our duty to future generations.

From the meticulous maintenance of our luxury yachts and our Seabob SE63, down to the scale of our snorkeling gear and life-jackets, our equipment is continuously updated.
